Murrayfield Edinburgh Scotland

Murrayfield AKA the fortress of Scottish Rugby has an atmosphere unlike any other Stadium especially if the English are in town and old rivalries run deep! Game day in Edinburgh and the crowd really are the 16th man and have helped the Scottish team produce some outstanding performances over the years.
Not only this but Edinburgh has to be one of the must-see cities in the world! It’s grid like design boasting a view down almost every street. So much so it is a UNESCO World Heritage site, with its medieval Old Town and Georgian New Town all overlooked by Edinburgh’s imposing Castle, which is home to the Stone of Destiny and Scotland’s crown jewels.
From the Castle runs the famous Royal Mile with the Palace of Holyroodhouse at the bottom, along with the modern Scottish Parliament building and Arthur’s Seat, which is an impressive peak in Holyrood Park with stunning views over the city and beyond.
As if all this isn’t enough, they certainly know how to party and Edinburgh is renowned as one of the best Festival cities. Home to the largest arts festival in the world, Edinburgh Festival, Fringe, Book and Film Festivals, the Royal Military Tattoo, Storytelling Festival and Hogmanay to name just a few, so there’s almost always something going on!
Our recommended camp site is located just 4 miles from the city centre in a beautiful and peaceful countryside estate and yet it’s superb transport links make travelling around the city a breeze.
