Well I wish it could be Christmas every day

Going to Christmas Fayres and Pantomines in one of our campervans is a Christmas travel event like no other! 

Throughout the month of December we send our family of vans out looking and feeling like a Santas Grotto to get all of our customers into the Christmas Spirit.  

 

Each of our vans sparkles with Christmas lights and a miniature Christmas tree along with Christmas themed cushion covers and some baubles sprayed on the windows and a Santas sleigh to follow you on your journey.  

 

It's a perfect way to get away in December this year and deliver Christmas gifts to your family from your very own Grotto. 

 

Or just a way to create a magical Christmas break see some of the UKs most beautiful towns and cities all dressed up in their Christmas best. 

 

Some of our favourite cities when all festooned in their Christmas finest are Chester, York and Edinburgh and, whilst Christmas markets are pretty much cancelled this year, there are still outdoor Christmas events being planned. 

 

Chester Christmas Tree Festival looks set to continue through December as well as the spectacular Lanterns event at Chester Zoo which has still got tickets available. 

 

York Castle Musuem is still hoping to be allowed to re-open for the Christmas Spectacular but what is certain is that the York streets shall be twinkling with their usual decorations and Wish Upon a Frozen Star at Castle Howard is an outdoor event that looks truly stunning. 

 

Wherever you venture we feel sure that every shop, cafe, pub and restaurant that you enter will be festooned with boughs and holly with a very welcoming Christmas spirit so that your whole travel experience feels like a Christmas immersion. 

 

Marzipan flavoured tea, pigs in blankets, mince pies and mulled wine can be found on menus the length and breadth of the country ready for you to indulge. Even brie, thyme and cranberry pizzas make an appearance at this time of year, a personal favourite of mine! 

 

Depending where you venture you might even be treated to a snow spattering on some hilly walks in the Lakes, Snowdonia and Scotland. 

 

The van isn't just your own little bubble, it's your very own Christmas bubble.....or bauble.  

 

What better way to come out of lockdown and restore some sparkle to your life? 

 

Lots of fresh air to restore a sense of freedom, with a good dose of Christmas twinkle and fayre on top.
